The new service entitled “Artist Series” will launch with a number of tracks from bands breaking out onto the music scene. The Artist Series will launch with tracks from Portland alt rockers Rare Monk and Los Angeles based quartet Misun.
The new music will available for purchase to the general population through iTunes , and will also be available through Killer Tracks for licensing and sync. Killer Tracks will feature the artists on its YouTube channel, as well as providing marketing support and promotional services to the bands and performers. The focus of the Artist Series is on licensing, however the program will also help support the artist it represented through career development and raising consumer awareness.
The music performed by the emerging artist is not restricted to original tunes. Many covers will also be available. Killer Tracks aims to release additional songs by its current roster of artists, as well as new additions throughout the year.
